If you are concerned about the installation of Smart Meters in your community please join us at the Eureka City Council meeting, Tuesday Nov. 16th, 2010 at 531 K Street in Eureka at 6pm. Each speaker will have 3 minutes to let the council members hear their concerns. The public comment period will be right at the beginning of the meeting. Remember there is power in numbers. Report on Tonight’s meeting in Fortuna:
We had a great showing tonight at the Fortuna City Council meeting. There were 25 +/- people there to express their concerns over the installation of the Smart Meters in their communities. Many people spoke and really brought up some very important issues. Our voices were definitely heard tonight.
