◼ Humboldt County Tea Party sponsors talk by former Arizona sheriff
◼ Richard Mack, former sheriff of Graham County, Arizona, who describes himself as a long-time crusader for freedom and individual rights, is scheduled to deliver a lecture on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Veteran's Hall in Fortuna.
Mack, who states, “The greatest threat we face today is not terrorists; it is our own federal government,” is an author, speaker and retired sheriff living with family in Stafford, Ariz.
Mack's address is sponsored by Humboldt Tea Party Patriots, which meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Vet's Hall on H Street in Eureka.
The public is invited to attend. Tickets are $10 and can be reserved by calling Gwen Morris at 498-3101.
